Aruba's first world-class golf course - an 18-hole par-71 course designed by Robert Trent Jones II. The pride of Aruba! This course takes advantage of its rugged natural surroundings and is blended into a celebration of Aruba's wildlife. The course totals 6,811 yards in length and its highest tee is 98 feet above sea level with a spectacular ocean view located on the northwest coast near the California Lighthouse.

Tierra del Sol, managed by Hyatt Aruba NV, a subsidiary of Hyatt Corporation, Tierra del Sol Golf 18th Hole has been planned with the interests of Aruba's environment in mind. From the onset, environmentalists were consulted to ensure the preservation of the region's natural wildlife, from putting in an irrigation system that would not interfere with a local bird sanctuary, to redesigning the course so that the home of a rare island owl would be left undisturbed by construction.

Bird Sanctuary

A saltwater salina on the 4th hole is home to several exotic bird species, including Aruba's endangered burrowing owl. This course also combines the native beauty of Aruba's indigenous flora, such as the swaying divi-divi tree, cacti and rock formations, with the lush greens of the world's best courses. chipping area and sand bunker. The multiple tees will provide a variety of distances and angles making it possible to play the course differently each time. Tierra del Sol is the island's first master-planned golf community featuring low-rise residential estates, a restaurant and lounge in the clubhouse, a pro shop, locker rooms, a health club, two swimming pools and eight tennis courts. Other Golf Choices in Aruba

The Aruba Golf Club is a most unusual nine-hole course - a challenge in the Caribbean manner. There are oiled sand greens, the ever-present trade winds from the coast and sometimes one will come across an occasional goat as a live hazard. And let us not leave out miniature golf. Adventure Golf is a miniature golf course located on L.G. Smith Boulevard and is surrounded by water. Adventure Golf is located behind the La Cabana All-Suite Beach Resort and Casino. There are also paddle boats. An evening of miniature golf, a ride on a paddle boat and a stroll in the moonlight.
